Nice clean story. Taking a chance on a good guy a learning

about yourself. Not submitting to you parents.I loved this story
A quaint story about romance and struggle. You’ll find yourself feeling for Victoria as she goes through her ups and downs. This is a hero’s journey in a sense, where in this case, the heroine breaks free of her traditional binds and finds true happiness. A quick and enjoyable read for anyone who is looking for clean romance.
This book appears to be a first publication by a new author. Although another reviewer claimed it was juvenile, I think the style is appropriate for pre-teen / teen audiences (as listed in the category).

There were a few things that were odd to me. I don't think the male lead would remark about his favorite fish being cod, as it is a salt water fish. Transport to Oklahoma wouldn't have occurred during this time frame due to spoilage. I also noticed that the story would be told in 3rd person, then abruptly change to 1st person in the same paragraph, which caused me to back up a bit and re-read the section.

All in all, I think it's a good first effort and I encourage the author to continue on but obtain the services of a good editor.
I enjoyed this western tale of a brave but immature girl who grew into a loving adult. Good story but rather short.
His was a nice story, however there were a few times the story took off in first person. Someone needs to edit this.
I really liked the story, but I only gave it 4 stars because of all the errors I encountered while reading it. It's like no one edited the book. If someone did, they should be fired. Otherwise, the characters were likeable. Nice and clean too! Hard to find that now. I would still recommend reading the book, but just be warned about the spelling errors and such.
I liked this book very much. It's written with a lot of insight into human nature. The characters have very different lifestyles but come to appreciate and respect these differences as necessary for their respective happiness.
